First off — we get a lot of questions about optimal settings and such now that the advanced filters are out. The video above sums that and the product up as well as we can in about 30 seconds — and it’s pretty! It’s crazy what you can do with a Canva account and some elbow grease. Anyway, check that out or read our previous post on optimal settings before you dive in to betting with Probly’s data.

Besides that on the product front:

-We launched a new interstitial on the site pushing people to subscribe to get the positive Probly Score bets. You won’t see this more than once when opening the app (and you won’t see it at all as a paying customer).

-We also pushed improvements to the Subscribe page for Apple to clarify and simplify things.

-We are in the process of adding the above explainer video to the launch process on Probly (to serve as a pseudo-tutorial, paired with the interstitial to attempt to convert people to a trial or signup).

-We are, hopefully in the same push, adding small graphics to the “Filtered” area to let you know what you’re currently filtering by on your page.

So nothing major in terms of current product tweaks but a few things you’ll likely see pushed soon.

We’ve had a lot of really encouraging numbers lately, including the revelation that we finally have more than 10x’d our monthly subscribers since we first launched the paid product in November. For those of you who are subscribed, thank you for doing it. For those that aren’t — 🔔SHAME🔔! Give it a shot!

We’re still dealing with AWS’s lack of communication regarding our old, costly invoices, which has been irritating. The good news is it looks like we’re in good position to finally get some funding going within the next few weeks pending a positive few more meetings — including a likely road show to Miami at the end of the month — so we’re cautiously optimistic things could be meaningfully improved soon.

Doing the work, iterating, creating daily content — it’s all hard but doable. Doing it without any real income coming in while trying to still keep up with current AWS and OddsJam invoices has been getting less doable. So to have any sort of clouds opening up about getting ourselves a round that will keep us going and expand growth exponentially is HUGE for both our potential success and our respective sanities.

We think things are starting to click on all cylinders even though there are a ton of items we still have to get to, including search improvements, a new homepage, and Alerts/Notifications for new high-Probly score bets among a few. Money would definitely help us start to knock things off even faster, which would be huge.

I’m excited even though I’m always way of a rug pull. We hope you guys have seen us doing the work and doing the best we can to make this product kick ass. Every day we get better and better at giving us a shot to realize that goal.
